ADV Broadcast Of January 30, 2010 Hello, and welcome back to this week’s broadcast of American Dissident Voices, the Internet radio program of North America’s foremost racialist organization, the National Alliance. I’m your host and the Chairman of the Alliance, Erich Gliebe.
Perhaps the biggest lesson to learn from the events that have occurred in Haiti over the last several weeks is that any natural disaster on a truly massive scale will be unable to be managed efficiently by the existing System. Although the System managed well enough for the situation in Haiti – thanks to millions of generous Whites, particularly in the United States – a widespread crisis would be beyond the scope of any one government or collection of governments.
Basically, what it boils down to is that there are too many people on the planet. With the population density of the planet being what it is and with millions of people living crowded close together and completely dependent on a civil infrastructure for water and other needs, it is only reasonable to expect that when natural disasters strike, the suffering will hit a frighteningly large number of people.
This population explosion can be attributed to a number of factors, the main one being the spread of White medicine to the non-White world. The result of that mistake is that, while the birthrate in the Third World remained high – with fewer deaths during childbearing – the death rate in the non-White world dropped enormously. So, the long-term effect of us Whites being “nice” and sharing our medical knowledge with the rest of the world is that the planet is literally crawling with people and drowning in human filth.
Back in the 1970s, when Dr. Pierce founded our organization, he strongly advocated that Alliance members take the necessary measures to ensure that they could survive any type of disaster, whether it were a natural catastrophe or a state of war that sent the larger society into a state of chaos. Dr. Pierce recommended that members stash stores of food, water, weapons, and ammunition – as well as have a workable survival plan... just in case. Many of the articles that have been preserved in The Best of Attack and National Vanguard include survival tips that members could put into effect in their own lives.
Maybe today it is a good idea to revisit that wisdom from more than 30 years ago. The rioting and looting that have been prevalent in Haiti over the last twenty days would be greatly magnified if a large-scale disaster happened in the U.S., particularly if the U.S. military was too busy dealing with other things to distribute food, water, and medical supplies, as it has been freed up to do in Haiti. A breakdown in society isn’t a very pleasant thought, but it is only a matter of time before something snaps and this unnatural society collapses into a state of anarchy.
And, according to a recently released congressional report, the U.S. is still unprepared to respond to any type of large-scale bioterrorism attack. The present government would be incapable of rapidly responding to disease outbreaks from a bioterrorist attack.
The National Alliance Member’s Handbook offers advice for personal and family survival during periods of civil disorder, and I will provide some of these tips here.
To racialists who live in rural areas, who are accustomed to coping with life’s vicissitudes without the highly ramified infrastructure which shelters urbanites, who have an easy familiarity with firearms, and who are already supplied with some items of survival gear, the suggestions here will seem natural and reasonable.
To city dwellers that have never had to deal with the world unassisted – many of whom might have never owned a firearm – the idea of preparing to survive without police protection, electricity, public transportation, and supermarkets may seem unrealistic. They may be inclined to wait until disorder comes – at least, until they see its warning signs – before going to the trouble to prepare for it. Unfortunately, warning signs often have a way of not being recognized until after the events they portend often have occurred.
In addition to prudence, there are ideological aspects to the question of preparing for survival. To the egalitarian, preparation for survival has the smell of disloyalty; the ownership of a firearm for defensive purposes not only smacks of racism (against just which criminal element is one preparing to defend oneself?), but it also indicates a lack of faith in Big Brother’s ability to take care of his own.
The White racialist who prepares to protect his family is also making a statement – most importantly, to himself.
He is saying: “I hereby sever my interests from those of the government and the race-mixers. Not only do I declare my disagreement with and lack of faith in them, but I no longer will hope secretly that their system holds together because of my dependence on it.”
Finally, there is always the possibility that in a time of collapse a racialist may be called on to serve in a White militia, and he should be prepared for that day, both psychologically and materially.
The specific preparations a racialist should make depend on his circumstances. The member who lives in a Manhattan or Los Angeles apartment or in a racially integrated area anywhere and must therefore be prepared to move quickly, will have different material needs from the member who lives on a West Virginia farm or Utah ranch and can reasonably hope to remain there during a period of disorder. In general, one should be prepared for the unavailability of commodities – electricity, heating fuel, gasoline, food, and water – from normal sources.
Flashlights or lanterns, portable radios, fresh batteries, warm clothing and blankets, boots, tools, medical supplies, gas masks, and weapons are obvious items to go into a survival kit. Drinking water, non-perishable food, and a few gallons of automotive fuel should be cached in a safe but accessible location.
Every racialist should make a plan and a checklist of survival supplies to suit his specific situation. If he is unsure what he needs, he should consult publications dealing with the subject.
Every racialist should have the means for protecting himself and his family from hostile elements or for taking his part in a militia in the event of civil disorder (but, of course, he should first check with federal, state, and local gun ordinances in his area in regards to what he can legally possess). At a minimum, this means should consist of a riot gun or the equivalent, a semiautomatic rifle in military caliber, and an effective handgun.
There is no better weapon available to the average citizen for home-defense purposes or for dealing with a hostile group at close range than a riot gun. This is a 12-guage shotgun with a pump or semiautomatic action, a capacity of at least six cartridges, and a barrel no longer than 2o inches.
For militia use the appropriate weapon of choice is the assault rifle. For most racialists the closest practical weapon to the automatic assault rifle is a semiautomatic rifle in a military caliber with a detachable, large-capacity magazine. The importance of a military caliber lies not only in performance, but also in the availability of ammunition.
An effective handgun is one which the user has a reasonable probability of a one-shot kill at ranges up to about 20 meters. With the same considerations about the availability of ammunition for rifles, this means .357 magnum or .45 ACP in a revolver; and 9mm Parabellum or .45 ACP in a semiautomatic pistol.
The reason for having a handgun in addition to a shotgun and/or a rifle is portability. During a period of civil disorder it may be prudent to have a firearm instantly available at all times; a rifle left in the next room may be too far away when trouble suddenly appears at the door, but a pistol in the belt or holster is always at hand.
For years I had thought that civil unrest on a massive scale was still a long way off, as the American economy had appeared stable enough to keep North America’s citizens from hunting each other for food. However, major economic collapses, a natural disaster on a massive scale, a bioterrorist attack, or a food and water shortage are all it may take for civil unrest to begin. And, of course, we must take into consideration that the genetic element that built a civilization in North America is quickly being replaced in numbers by a rising tide of non-Whites through both legal and illegal immigration, as well as by alarming Third World birth rate.
None of this changes what we in the National Alliance hope to do. But, while we continue to press ahead with our plans as an organization, it might be prudent for us – on an individual and family basis – to take pains to prepare, just in case the end of civilization in the Western Hemisphere arrives during our lifetimes.
